Miss Thelma Louise Savage, 90, of 938 Drum Hill Road, Gates, N.C., died April 25, 2004, at Louise Obici Hospital. She was preceded in death by both parents and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Miss Savage was never a biological mother; however, she served as a spiritual mother to many and nurtured them in the Word of God through Bible Study. She was employed by Planters Peanuts and worked for 43 years before retiring.

The celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at New Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church in Drum Hill, N.C.
