Donald Lee Riddick, 62, a resident of Grandview Heights, Ohio, died Monday, April 25, 2004, as a result of a heart attack.

Don was born on June 12, 1941, to George Riddick and Ethel Baggett Riddick Blanchard in Suffolk.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and worked in the stores and receiving departments of The Ohio State University for over 30 years. He also worked to beautify landscapes for many central Ohio families.

His brother Jerry, half-brother, Murray (Junior) Blanchard, and half-sisters, Lois Riedy and Peggy Yoder, survive Don. His four children: Hiedi (JR) Griggs, Jill (David) Crabbe, Mahon, and Justin Riddick will miss him. His grandchildren, Allison, Nathan and Heather, were the loves of his life. Rob Suttle and countless special friends and co-workers will remember him for his willingness to help anyone whenever possible.

The memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, in Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road, with Columbus Pastor Owen Stotts officiating.
