Tracy E. Blanchard and John W. Brinkley exchanged vows Saturday, April 17, 2004, in Deep Creek United Methodist Church, Chesapeake. The Rev. Danny J. Kesner officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Blanchard Jr. of Suffolk.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Brinkley of Suffolk.
The bride is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Neel Smith, who lived in Chesapeake, and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Blanchard Sr., who lived in Suffolk.
The groom is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William &uot;Monk&uot; Jernigan of Suffolk, and the late Mrs. Peggy Brinkley Jernigan, and the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gardner of Corapeake, N.C., and the late Harry Lewis Brinkley.
Maid of honor was Kelly Price of Suffolk.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Byers of Chesapeake, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Boswell and Heather Warren, both of Suffolk.
Flower girl was Olivia A. White of Chesapeake, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Mr. John L. Brinkley, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Mark Chaney, Lee Chaney and Travis Robertson, all of Suffolk.
Ring bearer was Joseph Owens of Suffolk.
A reception was held in the church.
The couple went to Nags Head, N.C. for their honeymoon.
The couple will reside in Suffolk.
The bride is a graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and James Madison University.
The groom is a graduate of Lakeland High School.
