Earl T. Holland

Earl Thomas Holland, 68, of the 1000 block of Myrtle St., passed away on May 1, 2004.
Born in Nansemond County, he was the son of the late Floyd A. and Tela E. (Bell) Holland and was the widower of Ruth West Holland.
A United States Army veteran, Mr. Holland was a retired pipefitter.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Regina Kovitz and husband Alan of Camden, Del.; four step-daughters, Nancy Cordero and husband Eddie of Elizabeth City, N.C., Sarah Seavy and husband Randy of Suffolk, Mary Sullivan of Hampstead, N. C., and Vivian Beene and husband Ricky of Shelbyville, Tex.; three grandchildren, Brandon, Eric and Rebekah Kovitz; nine step-grandchildren, Teresa Rose, Chris Cordero, Robbie and Mack Lester, Ryan Rice, Jamie Lowe, Ashley and Amanda Beene and Kimberly Pearce; one sister, Dorothy H. Price of Portsmouth; and one brother, Donald R. Holland of Windsor; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell and Hill Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
