Police recognize excellence in service

The Suffolk Police Department held its annual awards ceremony recently, recognizing departmental personnel who have demonstrated service to others above and beyond the call of duty. A special reception was held in the council conference room immediately after the ceremony with family and friends celebrating these unsung heroes.
