Pearly V. Dildy

Ms. Pearly V. Dildy, 75, of 421 Kilby Ave., Suffolk, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, in Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation Center. A native of Gates County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Dildy and Martha Benton Dildy.
She is survived by two daughters, Vesteen Jackson and Diane Eure, both of Suffolk; two sons, Wayne Cross (Andrea) of Greensboro, N.C., and Gene Cross; three brothers, William Thomas Dildy (Annie) of Suffolk; Clinton Dildy (Frances) of Sunbury, N.C. and Edward Dildy (Helen) of Gates, N.C.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, in Crocker Funeral Home by the Rev. David Wiggins. Interment will be in the Benton’s Cemetery.
The family will assemble at 205 Maple St., for the procession to the funeral on Thursday.
