Beulah Frances Green Sparks, 77, of the 5000 block of Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, died Friday, June 18, 2004, in Suffolk. She was a native of Herndon, W.Va.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence H. Sparks; three daughters, Ruth Stripling and Janice Mitchem of Suffolk; and Lois S. Daniel of Chesapeake; two sons, Ernest Lee Sparks and James Dale &uot;Jimmy&uot; Sparks of Gates County, N.C.; one sister, Sadie Webb of Ohio; one brother, Homer Green of W.Va.; one step-sister, Carol Cox of Indiana; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Green of Portsmouth; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 21, in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Jonathan Rissmiller.

The family will be Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennett’s Creek Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
