Staff report
Traffic was restricted through part of Cedar Point Tuesday after sewer line construction workers struck a gas line.
The Suffolk Department of Fire and Rescue were called out to the 2100 block of Partridge Place around 10:30 a.m., said Capt. Jim Judkins, spokesman for the department.
While Columbia Gas Co. was repairing the line, nearby residents were asked to stay inside their homes and traffic was restricted on the street until around 12:15 p.m.
