Cynthia Marie &uot;Po Po&uot; Nichols, 43, of 2720 Badger Road, Suffolk, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, in Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County and a daughter of the late Spergon and Alvertia Outland Nichols.

She was a 1979 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and was a retired U.S. Army Supply Specialist. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Christian United Church of Christ.

She is survived by a sister, Carolyn L. Eley, and her husband, Stanley Eley, of Chesapeake; one nephew, Lance Eley of Chesapeake; a godson, Christopher B. Green Jr.; three uncles and their wives, Andrew and Dorothy Mae Outland, Leroy and Gloria Outland and Richard and Ella Outland; two aunts, Eloise Outland and Evelyn Spencer; a devoted friend, Roy Robertson; god-given friends, JoAnn Skeeter and Mareta Eley; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mt. Ararat Christian Church by the pastor, Dr. H. Harvey Murrill. Interment will be in the Lauder Skeeter Cemetery.
