A new pediatrician has joined Suffolk Pediatrics,152 Burnetts Way.

Dr. Tonia Cox started with the practice operated by the CHKD Medical Group earlier this month.

Cox is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed a pediatric residency program at Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters and Eastern Virginia Medical School.

She is on of four new physicians added to the medical group’s 12 pediatric practices across Hampton Roads.
