Mrs. Mariah &uot;Helen&uot; Wicker, 76, of 427 Wilson St., Suffolk, died Aug. 4, 2004 in Autumn Care of Suffolk. She was a native of Whitmire, South Carolina and the daughter of the late Ruben Jeter and Susie Copeland Jeter. She was the widower of Lawyer Wicker.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Steve Watson and Reginald Watson, both of Suffolk; a special friend, Michelle Johnson Roberts, of Suffolk; devoted niece Daisy Rush of Suffolk; and nephew Dennis Smith.

A funeral will be held on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004 in Metropolitan Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery by Dr. Robert Hobbs.

Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling arrangements. The family will be at the home of Steve Watson, of 400 Culloden St., Suffolk.
