Anna Hill Crocker

Anna Hill Crocker of the 1700 block of Mt. Lebanon Avenue, Suffolk entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2004 in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth. She was a native of Hobson (Suffolk) and daughter of the late Willie and Maebelle Hill Thomas.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Crocker Johnson.
She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Church of God In Christ and the Pastor’s Aide and Senior Choir.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Clarence Crocker, Sr.; five children, Ethel Crocker, Clarence Crocker, Jr. of Suffolk, Vanessa Crocker of Columbia, MD, Novella Singleton of Leavenworth, KS, and Evelyn Eley of Suffolk; three sisters, Vernice Williams Poulson of Salisbury, MD, Ellen Frances Thomas of Suffolk, and Estelle Thomas of Chesapeake; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Mitchell Crocker of Suffolk; son-in-law, Robert Singleton of Leavenworth, KS; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one aunt, Leander Vann of Suffolk; one uncle, Edward Hill of Smithfield; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at 1 :00 p.m. In Mt. Lebanon Church of God in Christ in the Hobson section of Suffolk by Elder Larry Gray. Interment will be in Meadowbrook
Memorial Gardens. The body will be taken to the church at II 30 a.m. Tuesday. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
