Most Americans will never forget the horrible events of Sept. 11, 2001. The Citizens Academy Alumni of Suffolk (CAAS) is sponsoring a candlelight memorial this Saturday, Sept. 11 so that Suffolk residents can remember and honor those who lost their lives that day.

The memorial will begin at 7 p.m. at the train station on Main Street. CAAS member Donna Perry hopes to have a large crowd, &uot;We had more people attend last year than the year before, and I hope we will have even more this year. I can’t stress enough how important it is not to forget.&uot;
