James P-NUT Kid Nickelson Jr.

James &uot;P-Nut Kid&uot; Nickelson Jr., 63, of the 200 block of Forrest Street, Suffolk, died September 21, 2004 at his residence. He was a native of Nansemond County.

He was retired from Producers Peanut Company after 42 years of service. He was a former member of First Baptist Church, Mahan Street and was later a member of Love Christian Outreach Center.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 34 years, Jacqueline C. Nickelson; one daughter, Treva N. Stokes and her husband Larry of Suffolk; one son, David L. Cross; parents James Nickelson Sr. and Frances B. Nickelson; three sisters Deloris S. Washington and her husband Tony, Bernice S. Riddick and Mary F. Nickelson, all of Suffolk; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; two nieces, Delicia Washington and LaCresha Riddick; three nephews, Michael Tyrone Nickelson, Marcus Washington and Anthony Washington; cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, September 25, 2004 in Crocker Funeral Home by the Rev. James Elam. The Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 101 Bunch Avenue and will assemble there for the funeral procession.
