Jerry Abram Harcum, 64, Suffolk died on September 30, 2004. He was the son of the late James Abram and Ethel Wright Harcum. A native of Nansemond County, he retired as owner and operator of Southwestern Heating and Cooling.

He was a member of Holland Baptist Church; a member of the Qualified Gas Contractors Association; a former member of the Holland Hunt Club and Holland Volunteer Fire Department.

He also served in the National Guard. Special Honors.

Survivors include his wife, Judith C. Harcum of Suffolk; daughters and sons-in-law Julie H. and Bobby Masters of Suffolk, Lisa H. and Glenn Branchaud of Suffolk, and M. Renee Harcum of Milanville, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law Jim G. and Penny Harcum of Suffolk; grandchildren

Heather L. Harcum, Holly M. Harcum, Logan M. Masters, Shae E. Masters, Kristin B. Branchaud, Ryan C. Chavis, Justin A. Chavis, Jason T. Chavis all of Suffolk.

The funeral service is on Monday, October 4, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Holland Baptist Church. Rev. Dolan A. Talbert and Rev. Michael D. Halley are officiating. The Interment is at the Holland Cemetery.

Friends may join the family Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
