Inez Bell Cotter, a Darien, CT resident for the last four years, and a former long time resident of Manhasset, NY, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2004 in Darien, CT.

She was born September 8, 1901 in Suffolk to the late James C. and Cartie Inez (Harllee) Bell and was raised there.

She was 103.

Mrs. Cotter attended Beaver College in Pennsylvania, North Carolina College for Women and Columbia University in New York.

She is a retired school teacher.

She also resided in Williamsburg

and was active at St. Martins Church.

Mrs. Cotter is survived by her daughter Phyllis Cotter Graf and her husband George of Essex, CT and one granddaughter, Kimberly Graf Borden and her husband Edward of Darien, CT.

She is predeceased by her husband William A. Cotter.

The family held a private service and interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk with the Rev. Edward Morgan III of Williamsburg.

The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien, CT handled the arrangements.
