Jerome Elijah Pittman, son of the late Elijah and Hattie Pittman, was born on December 21, 1947 in Suffolk, Virginia.

He slipped away into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Ruxton Health Nursing Facility of Williamsburg.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: his stepmother, Frances Pittman; five sisters, Hattie Brown (Harvey) of Philadelphia, Sudie Thrasher (Eldon) of New Jersey, Debora Sears (Hersey, Jr.), Kaye Walton and Patricia Ashe of Suffolk; three brothers, Jerry Pittman (Josephine) of Smithfield, Michael Pittman and Ronnie Robinson of Suffolk; devoted cousins, Eula M. Williams and Jackie Williams; devoted friend, Roland Brinkley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing is on Sunday, Sunday, November 7, 2004 at T.E. Cooke-Overton FH Chapel from 1 to 7 p.m. The Wake Service is on Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m.

The funeral is on Monday, November 8, 2004 at 11a.m. at the T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment is at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery
