Mary Frances Eure Pierce, 85, of 109 Beechwood Drive, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. On May 20, 1919, she was born to the late Claude Oscar and Mamie Benjamin Madry Eure.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 61 years, John Clinton Pierce, her daughters, Doris Pierce Johnson and husband, Tom, Mary Pierce Meador and husband, Pete of Chesterfield and her grandchildren Dawn Annas Schenk and husband, Brian and David Michael Meador. Also, a devoted niece, Linda Eure Johnson and several other nieces and nephews.

She was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Christian Church and a member of the Ladies Star Sunday School Class. She was a former Deaconess and member of the Women’s Fellowship.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the Bethlehem Christian Church, Holland Road, by the Rev. Jonathan Palmer with burial following in the church cemetery. R. W. Baker Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family will receive friends at the residence.
