Elnora Dail Byrum, 90, died Nov. 15, 2004, at Nansemond Pointe.

Born July 22, 1914, in Tyner, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Charlie O. and Jeanette Monds Dail, and widow of William Edward Byrum.

Mrs. Byrum was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church in Tyner and enjoyed visits from the Southside Baptist Church Outreach programs in Suffolk for many years.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth B. and Horace Wiggins of Suffolk; sons and daughters-in-law, William Lee and Jannie Byrum, David and Barbara Byrum, Sam and Faye Byrum, and Jack and Bonnie Byrum, all of Suffolk; sister, Annie Hollowell of Hertford, N.C.; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by the Rev. R. Stewart McCarter with burial in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
