Yvonne Delores Cary, of 205 Wellons Street, Suffolk died November 14, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of New York and the daughter of Odessa Ricks Phillips and the late Robert McDonald Phillips.

She was formerly employed by Great American Outlet.

She is survived by one daughter, Lydia Cary of Norfolk; three sons, Josiah Carey (Marie) and Johanan Carey both of Norfolk, Jerry Lewis Cary, Jr. (Nat’e) of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Diana Joyce Ekanem (Umah) of Huston, Texas and Cheryl Ann Scott (Lazarus) of Suffolk; two brothers, Robert McDonald Phillips, Jr. (Armenta) of Queens, New York and Reginald Phillips of Suffolk; her former husband, Jerry L. Cary, Sr.; nine grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2004 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1351 Whitemarsh Road, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
