Lloyd Bop Hill

Lloyd &uot;Bop&uot; Hill, Jr., 56, of Bank Street Extension entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Obici Hospital.

&uot;Bop&uot; was the son of Sarah Hill and the late Lloyd Andrew Hill, Sr.

He was a former employee of CIBA Chemical.

He was also a member of St. Matthew Pentecostal Holiness Church and served as an usher.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Ruth E. Hill; three daughters, Lisa Hill, Tracy Hill and Tina Hill all of Suffolk; two sons, Michael and Lloyd Hill III both of Suffolk; his mother, Sarah Hill; father-in-law, Maryland Wilkin, Sr.; five sisters, Sylvia Stevenson, Gloria Hunt (Cleveland), Ethel Savage (James), Jolorraine Mason (Abel) and Paula Majette (Gerald) all of Suffolk; one brother, Paul Hill of Suffolk; one aunt, Claretha Thorne; two sisters-in-law, Rosa Carr and Joyce Wilkins; two brothers-in-law, Maryland Wilkins, Jr. and Robert Wilkins; five grandchildren, two devoted nieces, Saranette Chapman and Sierra Wilkins; other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The viewing is on Friday, November 26, 2004 from noon to 8 p.m. The wake service is from 7 to 8 p.m. at the St. Matthew Pentecostal Holiness Church, 213 N. 4th St., Suffolk. The service is on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at noon at the Rising St. James Church, 201 N. 6th St., Suffolk. The Interment is at Carver Memorial Park.

The family will greet family and friends at 1002 Bank St., Suffolk and 1010 Clarys Dr., Suffolk. Professional services have been entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
