Christa M. Kuhnel Robbins, 69, of the 3300 block of Pruden Blvd., passed away on November 28, 2004 in Suffolk.

Born in East Germany, June 2, 1935, Christa had retired as a custodian with the Suffolk City School System after 26 years of service and was a member of Suffolk Presbyterian Church.

Christa was the daughter of the late Fritz Kuhnel and Annanee Schrotehr Kuhnel.

Left to cherish her memory will be her daughter, Susan R. Mason and husband, Kelly of Chesapeake; sons, Dennis Robbins and wife, Dawn of Windsor, and Matthias Kuhnel and wife, Nora of Rottdorf, Germany; grandchildren, Ivonne and Andre Kuhnel and Noah and Caleb Mason; and one great granddaughter.

Friends may join the family Tuesday night November 30, 2004 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Harrell and Hill Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Suffolk Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Charles Miller. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends after the services in the Church fellowship hall.
