Mark Vershneider took home a win in the Cavaliers’ 46-21 defeat of Norcom in the Granby Invitational wrestling tournament on Friday. Corey Wiand, Cody Jones, Alex Robertson, C.J. Gregory and Zach Gibbons also won their respective matches. The Cavaliers fell to Granby and Norfolk Christian, and will host Maury and an opponent to be determined on Wednesday. Over at the Cape Henry tournament, Nansemond River got the tournament’s Sportsmanship award.
