Mary Louise Beale Winslow, 63, of Suffolk, died Dec. 27, 2004.

Mrs. Winslow was a native of Nansemond Co.; she retired after 19 years as a clerk typist for the City of Suffolk. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Ladies’ Adult Sunday school class and the choir. She was the daughter of the late Willie Pauline B. and Wayland Newman Beale.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Paula W. and Tony Ruiz of Suffolk; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff E. and Lynn F. Winslow of Suffolk; four grandchildren, Martin S. Winslow, Evan W. Norris, Caitlin B. Winslow, and David A. Ruiz; sisters, Martha B. Harrell of Gloucester Point, VA, and Patti B. Duman of Suffolk.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Rissmiller. Interment will be in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Parr Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday night and other times at the residence of Ms. Winslow.
