Shopping for your car needs just became one step easier.

Last month, Nationwide Insurance and Advance Auto Parts brought one-stop shopping to Suffolk, making it possible for customers to pay their insurance premiums while having car batteries replaced or stocking up on motor oil.

Hunter March, owner of the local Nationwide Insurance franchise, has opened a kiosk in the Advance Auto Parts store located at 1234 Holland Road.

The kiosk, which is staffed during regular business hours, provides full services for customers seeking to pay their Nationwide Insurance bills or buy new car, home, life and commercial insurance, said March.

&uot;This is all about making things more convenient for our customers,&uot; March said.

&uot;Everyone is so busy these days. Now our customers can shop and take care of insurance at the same time.&uot;

The kiosk program, which the companies introduced as a pilot in Roanoke last year, has proven successful, said Jamie Craig, a spokesman for Advance.

Since the beginning of September, 31 Nationwide kiosks have opened in Virginia stores, six of which are in Hampton Roads.
