Editor, the News-Herald:

I just want to take this time to thank everyone for making Christmas such a great time for my family. You helped us to make memories we will never forget. The police and fire association made one little boy’s dreams come true.

To those that brought Christmas dinner, thank you. To the Toys of Tots, thank you, and to all the others that don’t want their name mentioned, thank you. We would have never had a Christmas if the community of Suffolk had

not come together to help us.

I’m sure there were others out there who were also helped and may not be able to say thank you so I am doing it for them. Thank you Suffolk and surrounding communities. We truly are a great place to live.
