Hope you reveled in last week’s balmy weather – because you won’t see it again anytime soon.

Last week’s spring teaser has given way to temperatures more common for mid-January – upper 20s to mid-30s, according to the National Weather Service.

&uot; While we are expecting a warming trend within the next week, we’re not going to see the 70 degree weather we saw last week,&uot; said Rick Curry, a meteorologist in the agency’s Wakefield office.

&uot;Tuesday will be the coldest day this week,&uot; he said. Temperatures will inch up into the lower 30s, with lows dipping down to 17 tonight.

Things will warm up again Wednesday, with temperatures climbing up into the mid-40s, Curry said.

Overnight temperatures will hover around 30 degrees.

Although it will be cold, no precipitation is expected for the remainder of the week, Curry said.
