Weather postpones local school sports

Because of inclement weather, the following sporting events were postponed, and makeup dates had not been announced at press time:

Wednesday: Lakeland basketball at Churchland, Lakeland wrestling at Indian River

Thursday: Nansemond River wrestling at home against Oscar Smith

The Nansemond River-King’s Fork basketball game on Saturday at Nansemond River has been changed to 1 p.m.
