Mrs. Eva Butts White of 901 Truman Road, Suffolk, died Jan. 25, 2005. She was a native of Nansemond County and daughter of the late Henry S. and Mamie Edwarda Butts and widow of Edward White.

Survivors include her son, Herman M. White (Ella); one sister, Mamie Butts Beamon and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Timothy Baptist Church by the Rev. J.J. Ferguson. Entombment will be in Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. The body will be taken from Peebles Funeral Home to the church at 9 a.m.
