John Linwood Holland of Franklin died Jan. 24, 2005 in Norfolk Sentara Hospital.

He was the son of the late Godwin and Maywood Kelley Holland, formerly of Suffolk.

Mr. Holland is survived by one sister, Charmaine Harrell of Santa Cruz, Calif., and numerous cousins.

A private funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 31, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
