Ransheeda Jennings scored 16 points and Sharde Brown dropped in another 14 as King’s Fork used an 18-8 burst in the fourth quarter to avenge their loss to Oscar Smith earlier in the season, defeating the visiting Lady Tigers 53-46 on Tuesday night.
Latora King almost got a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds.
In boys action, the Bulldogs went down at Oscar Smith, 71-28.
The girls will go to Indian River on Friday, with the boys staying in town.
The Nansemond River girls fell to Hickory, 56-26, with Stephanie Adams leading the way with nine points.
Lakeland’s girls also fell to Hickory on Monday evening.
