Robert L. Faulk

Robert Lee Faulk, 85, of the 200 block of North Fifth Street, Suffolk, died Jan. 31, 2005 in Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk. He was a native of Buckhorn (Nansemond County) and was son of the late John I. and Isabelle Orgbon Faulk.
He retired as a carpenter from Byrd Construction Company in 1982 after 20 years of service. Robert’s early religious affiliation was Apostolic Faith.
Robert and his wife, Irene Faulk celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary in June 2004. &uot;Robert Lee&uot; was a carpenter and he loved to fix things. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, but remembered for his calm spirit and sense of humor.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Irene E. Faulk; five daughters, Janet Hargrove of Harrisonburg, Leona Gay (Frank) of Philadelphia, Catherine Wilkins and Nora Morris (Johnny) of Suffolk and Ann Cannon of Chesapeake; three sons, Willie Jordan (Catherine) of Suffolk, Charlie Jordan of Harrisburg, and Samuel Thomas (Angela) of Bowie, Md.; three sisters, Mattie V. Johnson and Daisy L. Johnson (Wilbert) of Zuni, and Gladys Faulk of Suffolk; two brothers, James R. Faulk and David T. Faulk, both of Suffolk. He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 in Rising St. James Pentecostal Holiness Church, 201 N. Sixth St., Suffolk, by Bishop D. L. Whitfield.
The interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home, 210 N. Fifth Street. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
