Alberta T. Pittman, 77, of Crittenden Road, Suffolk, died Feb. 3, 2005 in the Sentara Nursing Center. She was a native of Nansemond County. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jasper J. Thomas and Magnolia Hill-Thomas. She was the widow of Earl L. Pittman Sr.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005 in Macedonia Baptist Church in Hobson. Minister Miles Jordan is

officiating. Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 11:30 a.m. A wake will be held at Crocker Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling the arrangements.
