Bertha Mae Harrison of 1206 FDR Court in Suffolk, died on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 in Obici Hospital. She was a former resident of Philadelphia, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Erma Jones. She was the widower of James Harrison Jr. She retired from Susquie Dry Cleaners in Philadelphia. She was a member of Friendly Friend Baptist Church in Philadelphia where she served as a missionary.

She is survived by her son, James Harrison of Suffolk; a sister, Lair James of Accomack; an aunt and uncle; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 in Crocker Funeral Home with Bishop Madison G. Copeland. The interment will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery.
