Robert Edward &uot;Ed&uot; Holland III, 33, of NC 32 North, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 in Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

Ed was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward Holland Jr.; maternal grandfather, Robert P. Hollowell Sr.; paternal grandparents, Ed Lee and Wilma N. Holland; and a nephew Jay Paugh.

Surviving are his mother, Judith Hollowell Holland of Sunbury; a sister, Paula Lattimer and husband, Damon of Corapeake; a brother, Mark Holland and wife, Michelle of Franklin; maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Hollowell of Sunbury; four nieces, Jessica, Ashley, Kelsey and Sarah; and two nephews, Michael and D. J.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Damascus Christian Church by the Rev. Forrest Guthrie. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and other times at the home of Bobby and Anne Hollowell, 076 NC 32 North, Sunbury.
