Mr. Willie Hamlin Jr. (June) of 2893 Copeland Road, Suffolk, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 in his residence.

Willie leaves to mourn his loving wife, Hattie Olivia Brown Hamlin and his mother, Susie Mae Hamlin. He is pre-deceased by his father, Bill Hamlin.

He is survived by his three daughters, Olivia Rainey (Donnell), Annette Williams (Terrence) and Tara White (Kendrell), all of Suffolk, and his son, Maurice Hamlin (Marie).

He will be missed by his six brothers, Alton Hamlin (Vanessa), Frank Hamlin (Venetta), Steaven Hamlin (Mabel), Marvin Hamlin and Martin Hamlin, all of Suffolk and Carl Hamlin of Baskerville.

He is pre-deceased by one brother, Collin Hamlin. He will also be missed by his four sisters, Earnestine Beamon, Rev. Louise Watford (Percy Sr.), Mae Hall (John) and Betty Stephens, all of Suffolk; a special aunt, Lottie Lewis of Suffolk, and uncle, the Rev. Leon J. boone of Portsmouth; his six grandchildren and one God grandchild, four brother-in-laws and four sister-in-laws along with a host of other relatives and friends will miss him.

A special thanks is extended to his caretaker Ms. Carol Ricks. A funeral of triumph will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 1656 Copeland Road at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.

Mr. Hamlin will be viewed at the church at 11:30 a.m. The family will assembly at the residence for the funeral procession at 12:30 p.m.

Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 685 Carolina Road, Suffolk.
