Tyrone Jefferson

Tyrone Jefferson, 50, of 606 Factory St., Suffolk, died March 3, 2005 in the VA Medical Center, Hampton. A native of Gloucester County,
he was preceded in death by his father, William E. Bell.
He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended Paul D. Camp Community College. He was a member of Greater First Baptist Church, Orlando.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye Jefferson; one daughter, Ashley Jefferson of Suffolk; two sons, Antonio Jefferson of Waverly and Travis Jefferson of Suffolk; mother, Margie N. Jefferson; five sisters, Barbara A. Harris of Suffolk, Victoria Cook of Yorktown, Mary Jackson of Newport News, Mabel Hamlin of Suffolk, and Linda Pusey of New Kent County; four brothers, William M. Jefferson of Hampton, Edward J. Jefferson of Rocky Mount, Scotty T. Jackson of Gloucester, and Tony Jackson of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; four aunts, Alberta Liggins and Cleo V. Jackson of Virginia Beach, Juanita Artis, and Elnora Artis of New York, two uncles, Earl Artis and Douglas Lee Artis; one great aunt, Ellen Mizelle; a brother-in-law, Steven Hamlin Sr.; a sister-in-law, Helena Jefferson; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in Greater First Baptist Church Orlando by Dr. Henry G. Baker. The interment will be in the Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
