Robert E. Kinsey Jr.

Robert Edward Kinsey Jr., 62, passed away March 9, 2005, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was a native of Suffolk and supervisor for Commonwealth Storage. He was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church. He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He was the son of the late Robert Edward Kinsey Sr. and Dorothy Bowden Kinsey. He was also predeceased by his mother-in-law, Martha P. Bell.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Martha Kay Kinsey of Suffolk; sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert Edward Kinsey III and Dana L. Kinsey, Michael Dean Kinsey and Fran G. Kinsey, all of Suffolk; grandchildren, Alex, Caitlyn and Aryn Kinsey; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Kenneth H. Kinsey and Sheila Davis, Gary L. and Judy Kinsey, all of Suffolk, Bruce T. and Kathy Kinsey of Waverly; father-in-law, George T. Bell of Suffolk; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, W. Tom and Glenda Bell, and Glen and Leslie Bell, all of Marietta, Ga.
Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Parr Funeral Home and other times at the residence. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John F. Shappell officiating. The interment will be held in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors.
