The Suffolk public school system will be holding a Teacher Recruitment Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at King’s Fork Middle School for those interested in becoming a part of the city’s education program.

Participants should bring a resume, transcript(s), or copy of their teaching license, as they will have the opportunity to meet school officials and discuss employment possibilities. Early letters of intent will be offered for current vacancies for the 2005-2006 school year.

A representative from the Division of Teacher Education & Licensure, Virginia Department of Education will be on site for consultation. To register for the Recruitment Fair and to schedule an interview, please contact the Human Resources Department, Suffolk Public Schools. The last interview will be scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but will only be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.
