The murder trial of Stacy Lovell Johnson, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, was continued after attorneys claimed they did not have sufficient time to evaluate new evidence.

&uot;We received some new information, and immediately sent it to the defense,&uot; said Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Will Jamerson. &uot;It was of such volume that (defense attorney Michael Massie) hadn’t had adequate time to examine it.&uot;

A new trial date was set for June.
