Robert Lee Brown Jr., son of the late Robert Lee Brown Sr. and Mahala Sykes Brown, was born on January 6, 1926 in Surry County.

The Lord called him home on March 12, 2005 at Autumn Care of Suffolk.

Robert was a member of Healing Fountain Church and served as a deacon, trustee and choir member.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Catherine Brown; two sons, Larry L. Brown (Alexis) and Nathan S. Brown; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister; one brother; a god child; nieces; nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Metropolitan Baptist Church.

There will be a viewing from noon to 8 p.m. Friday. The family will greet friends from 6 to

8 p.m. and a wake service from 7 to 8 p.m.

The interment will take place in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery in Suffolk.
