Myrtha Elliott White, 88, of Chowan County, N.C., died March 11, 2005.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at The Greater Welch Chapel Baptist Church in Tyner, N.C. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. The interment will be in Welch Cemetery in Tyner, N.C.
