Greater Sweet Beulah celebrates anniversary

At 3 p.m., Sunday March 27, Elder Felton Williams and Mt. Olive Holiness in Central Hill will the guest at Great Sweet Beulah Apostolic Church, located at 137 Maple Street. The church is celebrating the 43rd anniversary of pastor, Suffragen Bishop Madison G. Copeland. At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, Elder Felton Whitfield and New Jerusalem COGIC will close out the anniversary.

Grace Lutheran holds services

Sunrise service at Greater First Baptist

Sunrise services will begin at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, March 27 at Greater First Baptist Church Orlando, 600 Factory St., Suffolk. Associate pastor, the Rev. S. Allison Baker will deliver the sunrise message. Regular worship will take place at 11 a.m. with senior pastor, the Rev. Henry G. Baker bringing the message. Sing-A-Rama at Bethlehem Christian

Easter Extravaganza today

The youth department of God’s Anointed Touch Ministries is sponsoring an Easter Extravaganza at 3 p.m. today at the Windsor School of Dance. This event is open to the community. Food, games, fun and more are available.

The scholarship committee of the Suffolk Christian Church is seeking applications for three scholarships given annually to current Elon students and high school seniors accepted for study at Elon University. Oxford United Methodist

new outreach program

Oxford United Methodist Church, 601 W. Washington St., has initiated a new outreach program for children in the intermediate area of the church. The &uot;Covenant Club&uot; for boys and girls from ages 6-13 will meet from 10 a.m. to noon on the third Saturday of each month.

The club features music, stories, games, art and snacks. Each child must have a signed permission slip by parent or guardian before attending.
