Carrie Saunders Morings, 84, of 28 Sarem Road, died Friday, March 25, 2005 in Down East Nursing Home, Gatesville.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Stoney Branch Baptist Church, Gates, N.C. with the Rev. Wesley J. Boone, eulogist, and Rev. Michael Holloman officiating. The burial will be in Gatling Cemetery, Gates. Friends may join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Vernon Moody at 28 Sarem Road, Gates.
