Musical concert at Mineral Spring

The Male Community Chorus of Suffolk will present a musical concert at Mineral Spring Baptist Church, Mineral Spring Road, Whaleyville, at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10. Arnold Beard is the musical director. Proceeds will benefit the Women’s Day program.
Sing-A-Rama at Bethlehem Christian
The Beautification Ministry of Bethlehem Christian Church (United), 312 Bute St., will be sponsoring a &uot;Sing-a-rama&uot; at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. The featured guests will be The male chorus of Balm of Gilead; King Brothers of Franklin, Wanda Smith of Missouri Baptist Church; Cliff Gwaltney of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Male Chorus of Bethlehem Christian Church (United).
Laurel Hill celebrating pastor’s anniversary
The Laurel Hill United Church of Christ, 8001 South Quay Road, Suffolk will honor its pastor, the Rev. Carl L. Sweat jr., D. Min., from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 9. The event is sponsored by the pastor’s aid ministry.
Word for Living Ministries

Trip to Women’s Convention in Georgia
