Jane Shaw Jones passed away April 5, 2005 in her home in Holland. She was born December 21, 1925 in South Hill, Va., a daughter of Clifford Hill and Elva Mae Simmons Shaw. She graduated from Madison State Teachers College and taught school in Suffolk for four years. In 1951, she married Bobby Jones and spent the rest of her life as a mother and homemaker in Holland. She was an active member of Holland Christian Church. She was predeceased by a brother, Dr. John H. Shaw of Sykesville, Md.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jones, of Holland; three sons, Cliff Jones and his wife Becky, of Raleigh, N.C.; Duane Jones and his wife, Sandya, of Alpharetta, Ga.; Andy Jones of Portsmouth; a daughter, Katherine Wollerman, of Quinton; grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Jones of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Ann Davis and her husband, Grady of West Point; nieces, Beth Goodwin and Judy Benhoff and nephews, John and David Shaw.

A memorial service will be held at the Holland Christian Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005 followed with a reception in the church fellowship hall.
