Clark, Everett to wed

Ms. Cynthia Clark Stovall of Suffolk, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Zombia Anita Clark to the Rev. Carlton Darnell Everett, son of the late Mr. James Madison Everett II and the late Mrs. Vernelia Elizabeth Everett, and the stepson of Mrs. Chris Everett of Mt. Clair, N.J.
Both Clark and Everett are residents of Suffolk.
The bride-to-be is employed by the city of Suffolk in the Department of Information Technology where she has worked for more than 20 years as a help-desk technician. She is also a unit director for Home Interiors and Gifts where she has worked for more than 14 years. She has been a faithful member of Tabernacle Christian Church for 30 years.
The future groom is employed by Berry Plastic Inc., where he has worked for 15 years as a machine operator. He
has served as assistant pastor of Tabernacle Christian Church for the past three years. He has also been a faithful member of Tabernacle Christian Church for over 21 years.
A candlelight wedding is scheduled for 5 p.m. Aug. 20, 2005 at Tabernacle Christian Church in Suffolk where the Rev. Dr. Carlton R. Upton Sr. is pastor. The Rev. Upton
will be performing the ceremony. The reception will be held at Bethlehem Christian Church on Holland Road in Suffolk.
The couple will be honeymooning in Los Angeles, Calif. and then cruising to Ensenada, Mexico. The gift registry is at Hecht’s Dept. Store.
