Michael Due Wayne Battle of Ahoskie, N.C. went into eternal life on April 6, 2005. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Demetrius Woodley Battle; six step-children, Samajyah Woodley of Patterson, N.J., Tianna Woodley, Raheem Woodley, Mytia Giggets, Lashonda Anderson and Breanna Woodley all of Ahoskie, N.C. He is also survived by his three sisters, Genevieve Wilder (Terrell) of Ahoskie, Deborah P. Riddick (George T.) of Gatesville, and Annette Jones (Alonzo) of Suffolk; two brothers, Robert E. Battle (Joyce Ann) of Gates County, and Wilbert J. Battle (Barbara) of Suffolk, his father and mother-in-law, Nelson and Viola Woodley of Littleton, N.C. He will be missed by his host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral of triumph will be held at Missouri Baptist Church at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2005 with the Rev. Kenneth Woodley of First Baptist Money Point Church, Chesapeake, officiating.
