Saints grab two wins in lacrosse

Courtney White fired in five goals and Martha Rawls and Ellis Pretlow had three each as Nansemond-Suffolk Academy defeated host Catholic 17-8 on Tuesday afternoon. Parris Grieder and Ginny Stulb had two goals, and Stulb, White and Pretlow combined for seven assists.
Joe Vidarte and Kyle Jett had four goals each as the boys completed the sweep, winning 17-3. Willis Taylor had three goals for the Saints and Ryland Gwaltney passed out three assists.
Both teams battle Trinity today, with the girls staying home and the boys going away.
