Shelter plans benefit to help domestic violence victims

The Soprah Bowl is coming! On April 30, the Genieve Shelter will celebrate the start of 18 years of providing services to victims of domestic violence.
The mistress of ceremony for the event is Keri Furey of WAVY News 10.
As part of this celebration, the agency will honor seven individuals or organizations that have provided exemplary support over the years. Honorees include Peter Stephenson, Town manager of Smithfield, Gretchen Quant, Brenda Wright, Nora Butler, Wendy Jones, Modlin Printing and Suffolk Presbyterian Church.
